Imageable Embolic Microspheres in an Animal Model

Robert Abraham, MD, FSIR, is an interventional radiologist with Dalhousie University Department of Diagnostic Imaging in Halifax, Nova Scotia. He and his colleagues undertook a study of imageable embolic microspheres (IEMs) in a swine renal artery embolization study. Dr. Abraham presented 30- and 90-day results from the study at the 2016 Annual Scientific Meeting of the Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR). Interventional Oncology 360 spoke with Dr. Abraham about the study at the SIR meeting.
